How does the calendar work?

Important dates (generally, deadlines) are included on the calendar. In some cases, the day submissions open is available.

Access to the calendar, checklists for submissions by program, and the ability to add dates directly to your calendar costs $50 for calendar year 2025.

Submission deadlines close at 11:59 PM PST. On our calendar, this shows as 11:55 PM - it is a limitation of the website. Our calendar is done in EST, so this may lead to slight differences if you import an event to your calendar.

Report release dates are generally not available too far in advance. These will be added as soon as we have them. CMS does not have a set schedule for report releases.

You can view the calendar online and download each event to your work or personal calendar.

If you use Google calendar, click on Google Calendar and it should automatically add it.

Where does the information come from?

Information for deadlines is sourced mainly from QualityNet. We check that against information from the Quality Resource Center and CMS communications, when possible. If changes are made, we will update our calendar as soon as possible.

What about other quality reporting programs, like The Joint Commission or Leapfrog? Can I get access to those dates, too?

We’re working on this! Hopefully it will be available soon. If so, it will be free for 2025 since this is a work in progress.

Why do I need this?

You can, and likely do, spend time adding these dates to your calendar already. And it’s not easy to track down the information for each program since it can be spread across a number of websites or pages.

We want to save you from having to do that tedious work.

Privacy policy

We will never sell or share your data with anyone. Your information is only stored while you have an account with us. Once you don’t, we will delete all information associated with your account after 30 days.

You may also request, at any time, that we delete your account and all associated information.
